ABOUT ME!

Hi, I’m Blakeford. Thanks for visiting.

You’ve come all of this way, the least I could do is share a little about myself, I guess. I’ll try and make it quick!

First and foremost, I’m a family man – I’m always trying to keep my beautiful wife and two awesome kids smiling and laughing. We live in a unique, historical MCM house in the suburbs of St. Louis, and love hanging out at home, enjoying time around the pool or working on restoration projects.

You want more? OKAY! I might just be the world’s biggest design nerd – I totally geek out on random, thoughtfully designed objects and beautifully functioning, nuanced little details that often go unnoticed, from typography and patterns to architecture, furniture and everything in between.

I’m a big travel and outdoors guy, and love taking the fam on epic roadtrips and adventures around the country. Visiting National Parks is totally our jam.

PASSIONS:
Advertising and branding, mid-century architecture, photography, typography, photos of typography, typing out the word photography, and screen printing.
